NDC NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONSOLES AGOGO TRADITIONAL COUNCIL OVER DEATH OF NANA AKUOKO SARPONG

The national leadership of the National Democratic Congress, led by National Chairman Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah,supported by Ashanti regional executives of the party has consoled the chiefs and sub-chiefs of the Agogo Traditional Council following the death of Nana Akuoko Sarpong, Paramount Chief of Agogo.

During his interaction with the chiefs, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah acknowledged the late chief’s contribution to national development and described him as a true statesman.

He also engaged residents and party members in the Asante Akim North Municipality, where he highlighted the NDC government’s commitment to improving road networks linking the municipality to other parts of Afram Plains North to boost economic activities.

Hon. Sarah Amoakoah, MCE for Asante Akim North, was given the opportunity to outline development projects executed by the NDC government within the past year in the areas of road rehabilitation, educational infrastructure, potable water, and security.
