38-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Alleged Bestiality at Adwumam

Adwumam, Amansie West District — April 18, 2026

Police have arrested a 38-year-old man, Kwabena Dangati, for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with sheep at Adwumamu in the Adodom Electoral Area of the Amansie West District, Ashanti Region.

The Odikro of Adwumam, Nana Yaw Asubonteng, who owns the sheep, said Dangati was apprehended around midnight after he was allegedly found with the animals in their pen.

According to the chief, processes are underway to arraign the suspect before court for prosecution.

Police are yet to officially comment on the incident.
