An aide to the Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has died following a head-on collision on the Oda-Nkwanta road. Three other people sustained serious injuries in the crash and are receiving treatment at a hospital.
The deceased, Kofi Nti was travelling with the driver of an NPP pickup vehicle when the accident occurred. According to reports, both were monitoring the party’s ongoing polling station elections in the area.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision. The injured remain in critical condition as of the latest update.
