FOMENA CONSTITUENCY NDC MEMBERS DEMONSTRATE OVER DISQUALIFICATION OF CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRANT IBRAHIM ATIPILLEH

Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Fomena Constituency have reportedly embarked on a demonstration against the Ashanti Regional and National leadership of the party over the disqualification of Ibrahim Atipilleh, a chairmanship hopeful.

The protesters are demanding clarity and fairness regarding the decision to disqualify Mr. Atipilleh from contesting the upcoming constituency executive elections.

The development follows recent tensions within the Fomena NDC constituency, where Mr. Atipilleh had been contesting the chairmanship position against the incumbent constituency chairman, Eric Opoku.

The protesters are calling on the appropriate party authorities to address their concerns and reconsider the decision.
