Poll: NDC Support In Ashanti Region Drops To 18% – Mussa Dankwah

A new polling data insight from pollster Mussa Dankwah indicates the National Democratic Congress’ support base in the Ashanti Region has dropped from 30% to 18% as of June 2026.

According to the poll, the New Patriotic Party improved slightly to 37%, while 23% of voters identified as floating voters. Another 16% did not disclose their party affiliation.

Mussa Dankwah questioned whether the NPP’s performance among Bawumia, Asiedu Nketia, Haruna Iddrisu, Naana Opoku-Agyemang, or Ato Forson will determine performance in the 2024 election, and asked if the “new Ghana” means partisan affiliation is diminishing in Ashanti.
