WHY HON. ISHAM YAW ALHASSAN BONSU MUST BE VOTED FOR AS NDC ASHANTI REGIONAL CHAIRMAN

Many are asking why Hon. Yaw Isham Bonsu wants to take up the position of a Chairman in the Ashanti Region under the umbrella family? The same way many did asked questions when our National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah our then national secretary wanted to become the Chairman. Many thought he was successful been a secretary and should maintain same.

But time has proven us right that change of position was important at that moment. The same way despite the successes of Hon. Isham as an organizer we calling him to become chairman of the region regarding the activities ahead and what we want to achieve as a party in the region.

Many who knows Hon. Isham knows his capabilities and experience as well as his achievement as organizer of the party at its various levels. He is workaholic comrade who has contributed a lot to the success of the NDC in Ashanti Region.

The 2028 election is not joke and it is not going to be easy for us as a sitting government. We need bold and courageous decision makers for Ashanti Region NDC and the party as a whole. In everything historical, powers changes hands. As a political party we need to maintain our seats and add more to it.

If you really wants to know the capabilities of Hon. Isham and how is he is able to deal with issues, then you need to take a critical look at his position now

This position is given to persons who have high human relations capabilities. Someone who understands the plight of the people and is a problem solver. A person who is able to relate to people in all situations.

The constitution of all political parties gives certain powers and privileges to the chairmen in the party. And those of us calling for the Chairmanship of Hon. Isham understands and believe that Ashanti Region would have been a better place with him as the parties regional chairman than what we see today.

We acknowledge that there have some successes over the years but we believe a lot should have been done. Some decisions at the top level needs confident and bold people in position.

NDC Ashanti Region deserves more than we see today. The grassroot is not enjoying as they’re supposed to enjoy, unemployment is killing the youth who are the future of the party. Hon. Isham have always been with the grassroot since he joined the party. He has help a lot of them but we believe he deserves to be chairman so that he can do more than he is doing now.

As he always says ” HE IS COMING TO TEACH OUR GRASSROOT HOW TO FISH, RATHER THAN GIVING THEM FISH EVERYDAY, SO THAT THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES, THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS EVEN WHEN HE IS NOT AROUND”.
