Tribunal Courts Will Only Delay Cases” – Manhyia South MP Opposes New Law

The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, *Nana Baffour Adjei*, has described the proposed law to establish tribunal courts as a “waste of time.”

Speaking to Oyerepa News the lawyer and lawmaker argued that the introduction of tribunal courts would rather cause further delays in the justice system instead of speeding up case resolution.

According to him, government should focus on building and equipping more regular courts rather than creating a new tribunal system.

“The tribunal court system will further delay cases. Instead of establishing tribunal courts, more courts should be built and equipped to handle the backlog,” he stated.

The MP’s comments come amid ongoing discussions on judicial reforms aimed at improving access to justice in the country.
