The newly elected Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, has called on media practitioners in the region to help put an end to politics of insults.

According to him, such attitudes do not promote decent democracy and his administration will not allow any member of the party to engage in such behaviour.

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah made the appeal during his maiden media soiree in Kumasi after winning the regional elections.

He promised to maintain a good relationship with media practitioners in the region to help bring development to the region.
He also used the engagement to task media practitioners to put pressure on the sitting government to complete abandoned projects, such as Agenda 111 hospitals and other projects started by the previous administration.
