NPP Ashanti Chairman Criticise Mahama Government Over Dumsor, High Tariffs At Race Course Market

The newly elected Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, NPP Odeneho Kwaku Appiah Asanteman COKA , have criticised the John Dramani Mahama-led government over ongoing power interruptions, high utility tariffs and rising cost of doing business.

Speaking at the Race Course Market in Kumasi on Wednesday , the Regional Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, said traders and businesses are bearing the brunt of unstable power supply and increasing operational costs.

He said the situation is affecting livelihoods and called on government to take urgent steps to stabilise the energy sector and reduce the burden on Ghanaians.

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah urged traders at the market to remain engaged with the party and to vote massively for the NPP in the 2028 general elections to restore economic stability.

The executives were at the market as part of engagements with traders and party supporters following their election into office.
