The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has urged party executives not to entertain politicians who switch between political parties.

Speaking to residents of the Asawase Constituency during his Thank You tour of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Asiedu Nketia said some individuals play “double standards” by aligning with major parties like the NDC and NPP, spending “12 hours in one party” before joining another.

He warned that such people cannot be trusted and their conduct could harm the party if tolerated.

At the same event, Nana Osei Gyebi II, Otumfuo’s Akotorsuhene, appealed to government to extend more development projects to the community.

He also urged NDC leadership to reward loyal members who have sacrificed for the party with job opportunities.

Responding, Asawase MP Hon. Mubarak Muntaka acknowledged the community’s demand for more projects but noted that the NDC has been instrumental in the development of the constituency.
