Anyone Who Stole Cocoa Funds Will Be Arrested-Aseidu Nketiah warns NPP

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has cautioned members of the opposition New Patriotic Party that government is prepared to prosecute anyone found to have misused cocoa sector funds during the previous administration.

Speaking during his thank you tour to Ashanti region, Asiedu Nketiah said: “The NPP should watch out because whoever has stolen cocoa money will be arrested.”

 

He expressed surprise at criticisms from some opposition leaders, arguing that persons whose actions affected the cocoa sector were now blaming the current NDC government.

 

“The government will never forget anyone involved in negative activities against the cocoa sector,” he added.
