The Parents Association of Adventist Girls Senior High School at Ntonso in the Kwabre East Municipality has commissioned and handed over a 30-seater ultra-modern toilet facility to school authorities.

The project, fully funded through Parents Association contributions, cost GHC 164,153.The project was built and supervised by Kwabena East Municipal engineer Mr Amoako.

Project coordinator Hamidu Alhassan said, the project started on 23rd November 2025 and was completed on 9th April 2026.

Parents Association Chairman Mr. Isaac Oduro advised parents and guardians to show commitment by attending PA meetings and contributing to the association’s development agenda.

“Most parents send their children to attend PA meetings, which does not conform to our vision,” Mr. Oduro said.

Receiving the facility, Headmistress Mrs. Selina Anane Afoakwa commended the PA executives and members for the timely intervention, saying it will help ease sanitation challenges confronting the school.

She noted that a proper hygiene environment will help female students improve their personal hygiene and stay in school to improve their academic performance.

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Parents Association, Mr. Kwabena Amofa Sarpong, used the occasion to advise students, especially Form 3 candidates preparing for their final examination, to stay away from examination malpractice and activities that will destroy their future.
