Solomon Reuben Jabari, a prominent figure within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, has pledged to fully sponsor nomination forms for all aspirants in the party’s upcoming branch elections.

The intervention is already generating excitement across the constituency, with many party faithful describing it as a “game-changing” move that will remove financial barriers and deepen grassroots participation in the party’s internal democratic process.
In a public notice, Mr. Jabari said the sponsorship is aimed at ensuring that no qualified member is excluded from contesting due to cost.
“This is about opening the space for everyone. Branch elections are the foundation of our party, and we must encourage broad participation without money being a barrier,” he stated.
Party members say the gesture could increase competition and voter turnout at the branch level, where polling station executives are elected. Branch elections form the first step in the NDC’s internal electoral cycle ahead of constituency, regional and national polls.
Mr. Jabari has been a financier of the NDC for several years. He is now said to be considering a run for constituency chairman to help mobilize more votes ahead of the 2028 general election.
