Hon. Ibrahim Issahak Cuts Sod for 24-Hour Market in Nyinahin

Hon. Ibrahim Issahak has cut the sod for the construction of the Nyinahin 24-Hour Model Market, a GH¢41 million project expected to transform commerce in the Atwima Mponua District.

The ultramodern market forms part of government’s efforts to improve trading conditions, expand economic opportunities, and support the 24-hour economy agenda.

When completed, the facility will house a bank, police station, health post, restrooms, warehouses, stalls, and shops. The design aims to create a safe, modern, and business-friendly environment for traders and customers.

Officials say the project will take 36 months to complete and will be one of the district’s most significant commercial infrastructure investments.

“This project is a bold step toward modernizing our district and advancing economic growth,” officials said at the ceremony.

The event was attended by government officials, traditional authorities, traders, assembly members, and residents who gathered to mark the official start of construction.

Gratitude was expressed to President John Dramani Mahama and the government for their continued commitment to infrastructure development and livelihood improvement.
