“I Will Resist Any Attempt by Asenso Boakye to Manipulate Delegates Album”– Fiifi Mensah Vows

Bantama Constituency NPP Chairman, Fiifi Mensah, says he will not allow any attempt by the area MP, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye, to tamper with the party’s delegates album.

Speaking after he and 1st Vice Chairman Kingsley Atta were invited by Sofoline Police over an alleged fight at the constituency office, Mr. Mensah insisted his actions were aimed at protecting party rules.

“I will resist any attempt by Asenso Boakye to manipulate the delegates album. We must ensure free and fair elections for polling station executives. The album must reflect the true will of the grassroots,” he told the media.

The confrontation was allegedly triggered by moves to delete some delegates’ names from the album, with sources linking the MP to backing the 1st Vice Chairman’s position.

Sofoline Police confirmed both executives were invited to assist with investigations and urged calm among party supporters as the matter is probed.

The dispute has sparked tension in Bantama, with some NPP members calling on Ashanti Regional and national executives to intervene before cracks deepen ahead of internal elections.
