3 Hohoe E.P. SHS Ex-Students Arrested for Vandalizing School Property in Viral “After-Exam” Video

The Volta North Regional Police Command has arrested three immediate past students of Hohoe E.P. Senior High School over a viral video showing them destroying school property after their final WASSCE paper.

In a press release dated Tuesday, June 23, 2026 and signed by Volta North PRO Insp. Felix Kwao, police said school authorities reported on Friday, June 19, 2026 that about five former students were captured damaging the school’s water pipeline after writing their last exam, then leaving for home.

Following intelligence surveillance, three suspects were picked up:

– *Rashid Suraj Dakpo*, 19

– *Alhassan Mohammed*, 20

– *Abdul Kadri Abdulai*, 20

They have been handed to the Regional Investigations Department and will be processed for criminal trial. Police say efforts are ongoing to apprehend the other two students seen in the video.

The Command warned that “this behavior is becoming increasingly common” among final-year students after exams, and any student caught will face “the full rigours of the law.”

Parents, guardians, and teachers are also being urged to keep admonishing wards on the consequences of vandalizing school property.
