LET’S WELCOME GOVERNMENT INITIATIVES TO DEVELOP OUR COMMUNITIES – NANA AKWASI OKOH II
Nana Akwasi Okoh II, Chief of Manso Tretrem in the Amansie West District, has called on his fellow traditional leaders to embrace government initiatives aimed at developing their communities.

He also emphasized the need for citizens to join traditional leaders in organizing routine communal labour to promote a clean environment and community development.

Nana Akwasi Okoh II made the remarks while speaking to journalists during a monthly clean-up exercise jointly organized by the Manso Tretrem Traditional Council and the Amansie West District Assembly.

The exercise witnessed massive attendance from Ghana police service, immigration Services,staff from Amansie west district assembly, and residents from various social groups.

Hon Ebenezer Opoku, Assembly Member for the area, used the occasion to appeal to government to construct the town’s road network.

In response, Mr Thomas Okrah Kwame, Coordinating Director for Amansie West, commended the Traditional Council and residents for their commitment to the exercise, describing it as a demonstration of partnership in governance.
