Woman Arrested in Agric After She Was Caught Dressed as a “Ghost” Stealing Late Friend’s Clothes-Contact

Residents of Agric in the Kwadaso Municipality, Ashanti Region, were left in shock after a woman identified as Nana Akua, known on TikTok as Mama Gee or Akua Sikapa, was caught breaking into her late friend Mrs.Osei Bonsu’s room while dressed as a ghost.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening when neighbors noticed movement in the room of a woman who died a few weeks ago.

Upon entering, they found Nana Akua, a close friend of the deceased, wearing a white cloth over her head and body. She was allegedly removing clothes from the deceased’s wardrobe.

According to eyewitnesses in an interview with Oheneba Dankwah Jupitar Owusu said,Nana Akua told residents that her late friend’s spirit had been disturbing her at night. She claimed a fetish priest advised her that the only way to stop the hauntings was to take the dead woman’s clothes for a ritual.

Residents rejected her explanation, raised an alarm, and a crowd quickly gathered at the scene.

The suspect was later handed over to the Kwadaso Police for questioning. Police say they are investigating to establish her motive and to determine whether she was acting alone.

Community members are now calling on the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
