RURAL ELECTRIFICATION PROJECT EXTENDED TO DUMAKWAI, SANTASI, ADONGO (PONWAAKROM), BOMAA POULTRYMU, BINCHIMU, AND ADINKRAMU IN TANO NORTH MUNICIPALITY

PROMISE DELIVERED: COMMUNITIES TO BE CONNECTED TO THE NATIONAL GRID

The Office of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Pius Opoku, wishes to inform the general public and particularly residents of Dumakwai, Santasi, Adongo (Ponwaakrom), Bomaa PoultryMu, Binchimu, and Adinkramu, that electricity is finally coming to their communities.

This is in fulfillment of a promise made by Hon. Pius Opoku to these communities during the 2024 electioneering campaign.

This significant milestone was made possible through the relentless lobbying efforts of the MCE, Hon. Pius Opoku, in a cost-sharing partnership between the Tano North Municipal Assembly and the Ministry of Energy.

All required materials for the project have arrived on site today, and the contractor is set to commence work immediately.

This achievement further cements Hon. Pius Opoku’s impressive development record. In less than two years in office, he has successfully facilitated the extension of electricity to Twewaaho, New Koforidua, Yamfo, and some communities in Bomaa.

We express our profound gratitude to Hon. Pius Opoku for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to illuminating and developing Tano North.
