Nana Okogyeadeɛ Opoku Nyantakyi, Aberewaponghene in the Asante Akim North Municipality, Ashanti Region, has said that traditional leaders (chiefs) are key stakeholders in protecting our forest reserves, hence the need for collaboration between traditional leaders and staffs of forestry commission.
He however urged staff of the Forestry Commission to always stand firm in their administration, since sometimes people may not agree with them but they should have the courage to protect our forest reserves.

Nana Okogyeadeɛ gave the advice while commending the outgoing Juaso Forest Manager, Madam Priscilla Asomani, for her honesty and integrity during her send-off ceremony as she leaves to serve as the new Deputy Regional Manager for the Volta Region.

In her response, Madam Priscilla Asomani urged her fellow staff of the Commission to serve with honesty and integrity and expressed gratitude to all those who supported her administration.
She used the occasion to appeal to key stakeholders to give equal support to the new manager taking over from her.
