Ndc chairman fulfils promise, recruits Sikaman-Brofoyedu helicopter crash heroes

Hon Johnson Aseidu Nketiah, the national chairman of the ruling party NDC, has affirmed that 8 residents who helped during the Sikaman-Brofoyedu helicopter crash have been recruited into the security services, among other benefits.

This announcement was made during a thank you your to Adansi and it’s surrounding areas, specifically Obuasi.

The residents had played a crucial role in recovering the bodies of eight prominent individuals, including defense minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah and environment minister Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed who were on board the ill-fated helicopter.

The government has also provided GHC 100,000 to the rescuers and GHC 20,000 to the Adansi traditional Council to support traditional rites.

Additionally, the government has pledged to complete community centers and improve road infrastructure in the area.
