Afram Plains South DCE Markets Ekye Amanfrom as Region’s Cheapest Livestock Hub

The District Chief Executive for Kwahu Afram Plains South, Hon. Moses Tangme, says the district hosts the cheapest livestock market in the region.

Speaking on Gadeka Multimedia’s socio-political show with host Torgbui Gadeka, the DCE highlighted the livestock market established last year at Ekye Amanfrom, the gateway to Afram Plains.

He appealed to traders and the general public to patronize the market, noting that its location makes it easy to transport livestock to any part of the country.

 

The livestock market runs on Mondays, while the main market day is Tuesday.

 

Hon. Tangme said the market creates an enabling environment for livestock dealers and boosts internally generated funds for the district.
