
Budget Cash and Carry, sole distributor of Blue Jeans Energy Drink, has cut sod for the construction of a sub-regional factory at Apromoase in the Ashanti Region.

The factory is scheduled for completion within six months according to company officials.

Speaking at a brief ceremony, Nana Agyiri Aggrey, Chief Executive Officer of Budget Cash and Carry and Paramount Chief of the Abuabaze Traditional Council, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to job creation.
He said the investment supports the vision of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to create opportunities for the younger generation.
Nana Aggrey commended Otumfuo for the opportunity to establish the manufacturing plant in the region. He also thanked the Apromoase Traditional Council for its support.

Nana Brobbey Ameyaw, Chief of Apromoase, appealed to the company to prioritize employment for residents of Apromoase, Kokoben, Appiadu, Anwomaso* and surrounding communities.

Nana Boakye Yam Ababio, Chief of Nkwantakesse, who represented the Asantehene, reaffirmed Otumfuo’s commitment to supporting both international and local investors to create jobs for Asanteman.
