Sekyere Afram Plains DCE Commends Workers on May Day, Hails MP Hajia Nasira Afrah

The District Chief Executive for Sekyere Afram Plains, Hon. Abubakar Issaka has commended Ghanaian workers for their dedication and commitment to national development through their service.

May Day, marked globally on May 1, is observed in Ghana to honor the contributions of workers.

In a statement to mark this year’s celebration, Hon. Abubakar singled out workers in his district for praise, including staff of the District Assembly, teachers, health workers, security personnel, farmers, traditional leaders, and other individuals contributing to local development.

He also commended the Member of Parliament for Sekyere Afram Plains, Hon. Hajia Nasira Gyekye Afrah, for her contributions to rural development.

He cited the MP’s work in education infrastructure, potable water provision, electrification, road reshaping, and health as key interventions supporting the district’s growth.

Hon. Abubakar urged workers to remain dedicated to duty, adding that their collective efforts are vital to achieving the district’s development goals.
