
Odotobri MP Hon. Lawyer Anthony Mmieh is calling on government to extend the Big Push road agenda to the constituency so residents can benefit from national development projects.

Speaking during an inspection of 29km of reshaped roads between Huu electorate area and Hiaya electoral initiated by his office and local communities, the MP said Odotobri contributes significantly to the national economy through cocoa production, trading, and mining, and deserves a fair share of infrastructure investment.

He urged government to pay two road contractors working on sections of the constituency’s roads so they can return to site and complete the projects.
“Our people are facing serious difficulties due to poor road networks. Extending the Big Push road projects here will ease their burden,” he told journalists.

Residents used the opportunity to praised the MP for the intervention and also recounted struggles accessing the district capital and nearby communities, and appealed for government intervention.

Nana Owusu Asim Panin II, Huu Akwansram Odikro, raised concerns about poor mobile network coverage affecting business and called on the district assembly to upgrade the CHPS compound in the community to improve healthcare delivery.
