GOV’T TO REDUCE COST OF DOING BUSINESS IN GHANA – MAHAMA

President John Dramani Mahama has assured the business community that his government is committed to reducing the cost of doing business in Ghana as part of efforts to accelerate economic growth and industrial transformation.

According to the President, government will continue implementing reforms aimed at creating a more stable, transparent and business-friendly environment to support investment, production and job creation.

Speaking at the 10th Ghana CEO Summit, President Mahama said businesses must not be burdened with unnecessary delays, unclear procedures and overlapping regulations.

President John Dramani Mahama has declared that Ghana is entering a new phase of economic transformation focused on production, industrial growth, and job creation, following the country’s completion of its IMF-supported programme.

According to him, while recent efforts under the IMF programme helped restore macroeconomic stability, including policy discipline and renewed investor confidence, those gains must now translate into tangible economic opportunities for citizens.
