Teacher Stabbed To Death At Maame Krobo in Afram Plains South

A teacher, Eric Blankson has been stabbed to death in his room at Maame Krobo in the Afram Plains South District.

Speaking to Gadeka Multimedia, the brother of the deceased said Mr. Blankson, a Store Keeper at *AFATI* – Amankwa Fisheries Agriculture Technical Institute in Afram Plains North, had come home for the weekend and was with him at his mobile money shop.

According to him, due to a heavy downpour and blackout in Maame Krobo, the deceased left the shop early to go to bed while he continued learning.

“When I finished and went to check, his sandals were outside but the door was locked with a padlock. That was unusual, so I forced the door open and found him lying in a pool of blood,” he narrated.

The body was rushed to the nearest health center where he was pronounced dead. Police were notified and the body has since been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.

The brother further stated that the attackers made away with an amount close to *GH¢30,000*.

He added that the deceased had just been promoted and was expected to report to Peki College of Education for his new posting before the incident occurred.

Police have commenced investigations to establish the cause of death and to arrest those behind the killing.
