The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Frank Amoakohene, has intervened to stop assembly members of the *Ejisu Municipal Assembly* from passing a vote of no confidence in the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Jerryne Asante.

The assembly members had scheduled a General Assembly meeting for today, *Friday, July 24, 2026*, to consider the motion.
